Our after-school classes are designed to inspire creativity and build confidence while helping students develop new skills and strengthen the ones they already have. Meeting once a week throughout the entire semester, these classes provide a fun and supportive environment where kids can explore a variety of hands-on projects. Each session lasts two hours, giving students plenty of time to dive deep into exciting activities that include sewing, painting, embroidery, and so much more! Whether they’re beginners or already have some experience, our classes encourage imagination, patience, and pride in craftsmanship. Beyond just learning techniques, these classes are a wonderful way for kids to connect with peers who share their interests, build friendships, and develop a sense of accomplishment as they see their projects come to life. Plus, they get to spend time in our cozy, creative studio space designed especially to nurture young artists. Whether your child dreams of stitching their own custom creations, painting vibrant masterpieces, or mastering the art of embroidery, our after-school classes offer something for everyone. We focus not just on skill-building, but also on fostering creativity, problem-solving, and a lifelong love for making things by hand. Join us for a semester filled with fun, learning, and endless creative possibilities!

The first 30 students to enroll in our after-school classes will be entered to win a private sewing lesson for your child and a friend with Ms. Paula! It’s a great chance to learn some cool skills and have fun with a buddy—don’t miss out!

COST

When you enroll your child, they’ll receive an exclusive Paper & Thread T-shirt and tote bag—perfect for carrying home their colorful creations (and a little glitter, probably). Every great artist deserves their own gear!

• Supply Fee: $200 per child, per semester

• Covers all the glitter, glue, fabric, thread, and whatever else your kids will turn into masterpieces

• Due at sign-up to lock in your spot

• Sorry folks, non-refundable—even if your child suddenly decides they’re retiring early from crafting.

• Tuition: $175/month per child

• Due by the 10th of each month

• Procrastinators beware: payments after the 10th get hit with a $20 late fee (we don't like it either, but rules are rules)

• After the semester begins, class day changes (such as switching from Monday to Wednesday) are subject to a $25 transfer fee.

• Payment Methods:
  We’re old school—cash or check ONLY.
  No Venmo. No Apple Pay. No magic beans.

 Snacks, Snow Days & Scheduling Shenanigans

• Snacks:
  New this year! There will be no snacks provided during class.
  But don’t worry—we’ve got water! Stay hydrated, stay creative.

• Snow Days:
  If snow cancels class, that’s it. No make-up days. We love your kids, but we can’t control the weather.

• Missed Classes:
  Life happens. Soccer practice, dance recitals, spontaneous vacations to Florida… But please choose a class day that works best because we do not offer make-ups for missed days due to extracurriculars or schedule conflicts.

We follow the Fayetteville Public Schools calendar, which means:

•  No class for Thanksgiving: November 24–28

•  No class for Christmas Break: December 22 – January 5

•  No class for Spring Break: March 23–27
  We’ll miss your little artists during the breaks, but we’ll be back with more pipe cleaners and googly eyes afterward!
