The Craft Girl
Paula started teaching her daughter Caroline and her friends to sew when they were just seven years old — and just like that, Paper and Thread Studio was born! That was 15 years ago, and she’s been sharing her love for the lost art of sewing and creating ever since.
With a degree in Fashion Design and 17 years of experience in retail management, Paula brings a stylish touch to everything she does. She’s passionate about fashion, loves hunting for unique finds at resale shops, and proudly rocks her own quirky style. When she’s not at the studio, you’ll find her decorating her cozy nest or making collage art just for fun.
But ask Paula what her true calling is? She’ll tell you — teaching kids to sew is her purpose, and she wouldn’t trade it for anything!
Miss Madison
Madison has been part of the studio crew for almost five years now — and fun fact, she’s known Paula since she was just a baby! She’s heading into her senior year at the University of Arkansas and is a proud member of Zeta Tau Alpha.
Madison’s got a knack for snapping the sweetest photos of our kiddos and keeps our social media and website looking fresh. But more than anything, she loves getting to know each and every kiddo who walks through our doors and making them feel like part of the family!
Miss Natalie
Natalie is one of Paula’s former students and has been part of the studio family since she was just six years old! She recently graduated high school and is still figuring out her next adventure — the future’s wide open!
When she’s not at the studio, Natalie loves spending time with her friends and her little brothers. She’s got the sweetest soul and a heart of gold, and all the kids absolutely adore her!
